Qattous Group (QG) was established in 1989. Mr. Khalil Qattous, the founder of the group, began acquiring various land parcels, strategically dividing them into smaller and larger plots, and subsequently transforming them into commercial complexes.
Qattous Group extended its presence into the retail sector, presenting fashion products under the brand names La Familia and Ohana.
Since its inception, the Qattous Group has consistently strived to establish itself as a well-known reputable name in commercial real estate development. With this objective in mind and recognizing a gap in the retail market, the group established the first-ever shopping mall, Maxim, in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in 2003. Maxim’s success was attributed to an efficient administrative team comprising highly skilled professionals in asset management, investment, finance, development, and entertainment. The Group further launched the versatile Avenue Mall in 2010 with around 46,000 meters and over 150 shops and outlets.
In 2018 Avenue Park was established in Avenue mall, offering an all-in-one hub with diverse attractions where kids can enjoy rides, arcade games and entertainment.
As an integrated commercial property investor, developer, and operator, Qattous Group has successfully left a lasting impression on the markets and sectors it engages with, creating an enduring legacy.
